I get it financially but does anyone else find it off putting that no state income taxes is always thrown out there as this great thing for free agents slated to make tens of millions of dollars for certain teams? Like how many public programs suffer because these states have no state income tax? It kind of sucks, it’s weird to see it glorified so much.

 

I've read about the Ravens needing to move on from Lamar and how he'll "never be the QB Flacco was" (this in a positive context for Flacco)... so same

 

I don't think its a HUGE deal but it definitely matters

Good side is that they pay taxes on their away games...and that tax revenue from NFL players alone is a drop in the bucket compared to an entire state's revenues.

Yeah I just mean more generally states having no income taxes, and rich people going to states with no income taxes because of that seems like something that should be frowned upon. Just another race to the bottom tax benefit for these states.

 

Sure I agree - he didn’t coach well in that game but it’s insane to call him a bad coach because of that when he’s having a lot of success (whatever his level of involvement is) in Green Bay

If Stanley were healthy, it wouldn’t have happened because Zeus would have been over there, tyre/fluker would have been at guard where they are better suited. We have best tackle combo in the league when healthy. Too bad we don’t have a center.

And yes, we need another WR badly. Tee Higgins would have been perfect. Someone who has good speed, but is also a big body and can get a contested catch. We don’t have a Derrick mason/anquan boldin type that we can trust on those must make plays.

and we need better pass rush. Yannick was a huge disappointment.

 

Damn kind of a bummer that Yannick floundered this year.
