I feel like calling Hackett bad is like calling Pep Hamilton bad because he was bad in IND. He might be, but also there was enough other crap happening that it wouldn’t be shocking if it was a good to okay coach in a bad situation

Ravens fans already predictably back on the "we need to draft WRs early" annual offseason campaign. Not sure how more WRs help when your RT blocks the air instead of the guy running past him.

The team needs a new coordinator with a competent passing game plan before they keep cycling through more college WRs. Find a coach that can use Hollywood + Duvernay like the Chiefs use speed guys. And get Dobbins to work on not dropping catches all offseason.

Yeah but Richard got ousted there and considering how bad their defense is now, it’s kinda weird. It seems like his ego got big because he was getting interviews, I know they might be friends but still not sure you want that guy calling plays for a new head coach.

 

I just read he wanted a coordinator job and people basically said “we’ll use your ideas but we don’t want you as coordinator” so he said nah and took the year off. Who knows how accurate that is though!

edit: also said he could work with anyone, so I think him and Saleh might be a good fit because they both seem to have similar mindsets

 

Morris at DC and Cullen at DL would be ideal. Cullen has pretty much made only lateral moves in his career so it's not impossible. Plus the reports are all presumptive. They should he wanted both Charlie Strong and Chris Ash for DC but he was really after them as assistants. That not being an option, Morris.

 

I don’t think any new staff will be put together until this or next weekend ends, probably some coaches still coaching
