it doesn't surprise me that Campbell would crush interviews...he has a lot of personality and is clearly passionate, but I am just not sure if his rah-rah schtick would be able to keep up for the longterm

I mean, I strongly prefer neither. GMs strong-arming playing time decisions and coaches vetoing player selections are both pretty unhealthy for long-term success. It’s a team effort on all of it and you need to be in-sync, but people overstepping their roles, particularly in the personnel department, was what screwed the late 10s Jags rosters, if those reports about Coughlin are to be believed
