If anything I’m happy the Jags players really believe in Urban Meyer. That’s super important, to have a coach the players buy into and want to play hard for.

For sure, but Thuney, White Gilmore, Hightower, McCourty, Spence, Slater, etc are all either FA or in contract years; even dude's like Chung and Mason who are under contract in 2022 are old and might be moved on from. The Patriots young core....not really good. They can certainly rebuild fast, but they have as many holes in their roster as any of the teams drafting in the top 5.

Maybe the Texans should just try to bring kubiak back lol

  11. Texans and Eagles both interviewed Brady but I feel like they are going in a different direction. Great news for the Panthers. I thought he did a good job last year and should improve in year 2. And I'm glad for him because I think one more year of OC experience will be good for him long-term.

Now we just need a QB for him to groom before he leaves.

Some things have shifted around where I’ve been able to focus on one big client only instead of multiple clients at once. That’s been helpful but is changing again next month, lol. So we’ll see!

  14. My company exceeded 2020 budget by 3million and 2019 actual by 20 million and no one got raises for 2021. #capitalism

Wages and salaries should be a percentage of productivity gains. Not a set rate. It’s embarrassing that this is never even talked about... when it’s CLEARLY the solution to rapid inflation, and inert GDP that lacks velocity

Like, fuck “commission” every job should be a commission job. That should just come standard. The average worker adds so much value to their company and sees almost none of it. If you make your company an extra $500k over their normal projections your team should be getting at least a full 10% (and probably more) as a bonus imo.

could be him or Studesville too I guess

lol i grew my revenues by 20% and brought in an extra $1 million bucks while hockey was illegal. In return, my bonus was cancelled and for a period of time, my salary was reduced by 10% while I've had to cover for a person we laid off since March. #Capatilism.

  21. I don't like wages 100% being tied to operational performance. You need a minimum salary plus a %. This provides that safety of a steady paycheck plus provides incentive to perform well.

My compensation has a base salary plus a percentage of net operating profit. It's interesting because I'm an overhead department and do not effect performance (well I negatively effect performance because I exist and I'm just an expense!). So my actual bonus ended up being more than my planned bonus this year because we did so well despite COVID.

But the wrong message is being sent by management. Oh you outperformed expectations despite COVID? Here's NOTHING for all your hard work you peons.

I agree I’m not saying if the company suffers you get nothing. But they do lay people off when that happens. So it should work both ways and everyone automatically gets more money on top of their salary, or even their hourly wage, if that department’s revenues grow faster (or costs get cut much more) than what is necessary for business.
