I’ve disturbed a few hornets/bees nests and being stung sucks and being stung multiple times really sucks but they don’t follow you for hours/miles lol they just want you away from their nest
I was moving a woodpile this last summer and got stung by two hornets because they had a nest in there, I just ran like 30 feet away and they stopped followings. If you aren’t allergic to the sting it’s not that bad, but if you’re allergic it can be deadly with just a few stings I guess

 

My irrational fear is, which keeps getting worse as I get older, elevators. I’m claustrophobic as fuck. I’m in DC/office buildings a lot for work so it’s not like I get to avoid them, but will take the stairs often.

When this guy died in NYC in 2019, it added a whole new element for me and I was shaken for days. Don’t ask me why I watched the video when it came out, just seeing the link/still again gets to me.

I move as quickly as possible when getting on or off an elevator to avoid getting crushed when passing over that threshold.

 

elevators make me so inexplicably woozy that i don’t remember the last time i took one.

Honestly the only thing that really scares me is death, I know it sounds dark but I'm honestly afraid to die.

 

Last summer I was out on a long run, and on my way back had what I thought was barely anything left in the gas tank, which was fine. And then I heard an irate buzzing and noticed two wasps tangled in my shoe strings. Let me tell ya, the energy and strength I found in that moment of panic to fucking sprint like mad after kicking them off my shoe was amazing.

If you ever think you’re out of energy, just imagine a terrible fear being on your or right behind you and you’ll find Olympic-pools of energy lol

Oh my god these were the WORST. I got them pretty regularly while working in a kitchen and holy shit the pain.
