My friend hooked up with a married woman and I happen to know who the husband is. I'm not friends with him and he probably doesn't even know who I am. But should I tell him?

 

I think you gotta stay outta it. If you were friends with the husband that’s one thing but otherwise I’d keep my head down and live my life.

 

A few things:

1. Do you know for sure that they don’t have an open marriage?

2. If it isn’t an open marriage, is your friend an asshole and just not give a shit? Or did he not know she was married? He gonna to it again?

3. How do you know the husband?

 

1. The way the conversation went made it clear it was not an open marriage.
2. He knew she was married, they broke it off
3. We would cross paths at work like five years ago and would work on the same client accounts sometimes.

 

Idk, I can’t be unbiased because of the shit I’ve been through. Fuck cheaters and fuck the people who knowingly get involved with someone who’s with someone else.

Cheating is just one of the absolute worst things you can do to someone. The amount of emotional damage and years and years or decades of trust issues they cause is awful. It’s one of the worst forms of emotional abuse.

 

I completely agree, which is why I don’t like the idea of setting that bomb off somewhere you don’t know how much destruction will be caused.
