yea w the amount of talent garrett underacheived w in dallas im yet to be convinced he can accomplish anything more than mediocrity. it always felt like he was struggling not to completely lose that locker room. if i was a jets fan i would not feel comfortable banking on the thought that jerry jones was just setting him up to fail even w as much as i think that guys an asshat.

When the lions last interviewed holmes, they interviewed smith the same day but I have no idea if that’s a thing or not.

Garrett is a great locker room/team building coach. He’s horrible at X’s and O’s and adjusting mid-game. If you need a guy to come in, push the reset button on a roster/cap, and head towards not being a joke of a team then he’s your guy. But he’ll never get you over the hump.

thats fair enough. the bar is certainly low. i just think a team like that more then anything needs a hc w more upside and that could instill a positive culture change. nothing ive ever seen from garrett makes me think he would be that guy. hes admittedly safer then a lot of the other candidates i guess but still just seems like that would be a defeatist choice to me.

It's fucked because like, there's perfectly logical reasons to not consider him over other options but at the same exact time if he were white he'd 100 percent be hired by now.

huge fan of both. would love either on the jags. Pep is another name like Brady that I feel like you're gonna have to endure the first two years while they get their footing as a HC but it'll pay off huge in the end.

I haven’t been stung since I was a child so I have an irrational concept of how much it would actually hurt lol. The way they move so unpredictably, and the fact that they will swarm you for hours / miles if you accidentally disturb a nest, freaks me out

 

I’m terrified of my fingers accidentally being in a door jamb on the hinge side when someone closes the door which would instantly pulverize all the bones and probably permanently damage them.

Everywhere I go I purposefully make sure to not hang out near doors just in case.
