Oh yea, the texans can’t even interview bienemy until next week. That’s what confuses me about some expecting them to pick a coach by the end of the week, then you really only have two coaches to bring in for interviews.

Definitely think he’s leaving the steelers but it would be a big surprise if it’s the lions, of all teams? Totally understand the skepticism

He was our pro scouting director in the 90s, but I'd still be shocked if he came back. I feel like he's closer to retirement than taking on a rebuild, but if it happens, I'd be ecstatic.

If the Texans can placate Watson and hire a coach that he approves of, I think that becomes a better spot than the Eagles or Jets. But right now, he's mad, and the team lacks talent and draft picks. Houston is definitely the least appealing opening as it stands now

And Watt is probably going to leave.

If you believe he's the guy, you have to hire him before someone else beats you to the punch.

Dolphins players turning on Tua, you love to see it.

I agree. I think the draft portion is overblown though to head coaching candidates as that is a short term issue. It's certainly not ideal to not have a 1st and 2nd, but they still have 8 picks in this draft. It will take this year to clean the cap up and then in 2022 things look much much better, especially when/if Easterby gets shitcanned.

That's why I thought Brady is a good candidate here, if he and Deshaun hit it off they can develop a relationship that should last the next 5-8 seasons

Look I'm all for shitting on Tua, 100%. But why the fuck did any of those players say that to the Herald, why did the Herald run it, etc.

I forgot to even bring Easterby up. Easterby on his own drags the entire franchise down. If he leaves that also makes the Texans job way more appealing

Feels like it's one or two players with a grudge, and they decided to run with it for the clicks. I wouldn't look too much into it.

    A) Lombardi is a shithead (I know he didn't write this, but he has been anti-Tua for like 18 months now for whatever reason)
    B) I don't wanna hear it unless you put your name to it.
    C) Everyone loves Fitzpatrick....hes like the drunk uncle. So for me to read that players loved Fitz is...not really news.

Yea, obviously. As a fan you just want to make sure they get it right and aren’t rushed into making a decision.

I do think Flores fucked up by throwing Tua in. Only time will tell if its a big fuck up or a little one.

why? Why do people think Fitz was playing well early in the season? He wasn't.

Flores knew that with the defense playing the way it was, he needed a QB who protected the ball way more than Fitz did.

So Manish Mehta finally resurfaced yesterday to "defend" his actions. This is the actual text he sent Joe Douglas and he doesn't see anything wrong with it:

“Hey Joe, I know that your son’s favorite ice cream flavor is Vanilla. Interesting that he went with Dippin Dots over the waffle cone. Like his old man I bet. How do I know this? Let’s just say the Philly Fanatic and I have been watching him. Great day for a ballgame. That’s how good of a journalist I am.

Now let’s end the charade and you admit to me that you wanted to sign Logan Ryan.”

I mentioned this before but jets trading with the falcons if they want to move on from ryan makes even more sense considering how good ryan was in shannys offense, they can also still maybe get a qb at that pick to learn from ryan.

I just think Tua could've greatly benefited from the year of learning, I think you gotta have realistic goals and this Dolphins team was good but not a Super Bowl team, should've let Tua learn in the shortened season, let Fitz fly.
