Lol ours was creeping into the 40k area when we killed it.

 

We did most of the “normal wedding” stuff (traditional venue, catering, pretty large guest list, etc) but doing it on a Sunday slashed the price by like half

this is why we aren’t going with the venue we were in love with and cost a little more, they had maybe a list of 4-5 local caterers we could use and with our guest list they gave us an estimate of 3K to 4K for food, while we picked a different venue which allows food trucks and are going that route for half the cost lol

Because people were talking about weddings and this is a football thread we had a friend do some chalk art for our wedding and I love how this turned out with baker. Lol. (This was precovid)

 

Bowles' had three problems with the Jets and they were huge issues:

1. Ultra conservative
2. Music chairs at OC
3. Horrible roster management by Mike Maccagnan

2 of the 3 were completely Bowles' fault.

The players turned on him at the end and we didn't even see that happen to Gase. Pretty telling.

 

Why are we trying to hire Urban Meyer's DC?

(In all seriousness, Saleh seems like the Anti-Bowles/Gase so lets get it done.)

 

I'm so, so tired of ultra conservative coaches. Like, fuck, we have one of the better QBs at big plays and heaving it, why are we so obsessed with not letting him do that?

 

We went to Eureka Springs, Arkansas the week before Christmas to get away and to scope out a wedding venue (Thorncrown Chapel).



I felt like I was living the next Ari Aster film the entire time we were in the town. It has to be one of the spookiest places in the US. Glad we got a short vacation, but safe to say, we're never going back that way again.

 

Reading more, it sounds like Dodds has ties with Dan Campbell? So a Campbell/Dodds combo might be on the table

I know like nothing about Campbell so I have no idea what to think of that

 

Campbell would fun for you guys

 

Dan Campbell is awesome and one of the best motivators I've seen

the problem is you can't be 10000% rah rah all the time, that will wear thin on your guys after awhile IMO

 

Interesting. Maybe with some good coordinators around him he'd be a good coach to bring in then. It'd be better than the misery that Patricia forced on his players, so it would make a lot of sense to bring in a more positive force like that

 

From my personal job search, I am very empathetic with those candidates who look great on paper and then blow the interview

 

In my opinion, the HC should never be the "rah rah" guy. It'll get stale real quick if things go south.

I guess kind of, but Saleh is a coordinator at least

Campbell isn't a coordinator, he is the TE coach

 

He is, but he also brings a lot of scheme knowledge and runs that defense extremely well

Campbell hasn't been a coordinator so idk

 

Was campbell ever a coordinator?
