Man, planning a wedding is so much stress lol

 

Lots of these best writers are putting a kicking competition for the Colts in their list of offseason priorities and I feel like that’s silly. I’m not actively opposed, but I can probably name 15 things that the front office should be more focused on than a kicking competition

 

Depends entirely on your in-laws, I found out. When my mother-in-law was trying to demand we have ours in their small town Iowa church (where none of my friends would willingly travel...compared to the cool ass outdoor venue we used), it was a nightmare. Once she settled for us having the wedding we wanted (~40 people in Western PA) and a reception in Iowa (wife has a big family and her parents have bigger families and all sorts of community people who wanted to come), it got real easy.

Cant imagine planning it during COVID and the uncertainty, but my advice is if its something you and your wife want and isnt unreasonable to everyone who would attend, go for it. You'll be a lot happier for it, and everyone is gonna be happy to see you happy.

we had to plan 2 weddings basically

we had our small backyard Covid wedding in November which was basically we did everything

now we're (hopefully) going to have our delayed regular large wedding at a venue this coming November

I’m very glad he made the statement he did. I knew he wouldn’t go but was worried he’d put out a “we’re focused on the draft” statement. His is way better.
