I think the deserved Lurie/Roseman/Wentz criticism will overshadow the fact that Pederson oversaw a pretty underwhelming offense for four of his five seasons and showed a complete lack of ability to adjust beyond simplifying the offense for the backup QB. He's not a particularly good offensive mind. His strength is in managing personalities and he wasn't even good at that this season.

He deserved to go less than Roseman or Wentz, so you can debate whether or not it was smart to fire him, but it's very hard for me to argue that Pederson is being screwed here. He made plenty of mistakes and had chances to remedy them and refused

I’m just saying that one vet WR to add to a young QBs options isnt a bad decision. He’s not like 34. He hasn’t had injury issues since that 2016 ACL tear. ARob will prob stay good ages 28-31 and then we cut him when it’s time to sign Trevor.

Well he got 14 after a mediocre season and an ACL tear. I imagine he'll command a lot more after an elite year and a very good year. I'd rather see how Collin Johnson develops and take a flier out on Justyn Ross. If we go for a FA receiver we should be targeting Corey Davis. If we're going bigger money then Chris Godwin

I still like Robinson. Money isn’t an issue for us right now. It’s more of a skillset balance thing. He has the skills that Laviska and Chark don’t.

Same reasons I want to draft Reshod Bateman but he probably won’t fall. Justyn Ross would be dope though. I like the idea of Davis only if he is considerably cheaper - it would probably be dope if we got Arthur Smith and he brought Davis with him.

 

Can't wait to start Carson Wentz with no O-line to a 4-13 season.
