Yeah I don’t even know how to predict who will win the nfc east next year. Every team has major problems. Wash and NYG have less problems but they don’t have quarterbacks.

I’m not gonna say it’s for sure us but I think McCarthy did a good job this season. Last time we lost our franchise quarterback midseason without a good backup on the roster (2015) we went 1-11. This time we went 4-7 and that’s with a much MUCH worse supporting roster.

Obviously not good in general but better then what we did recently. That’s a positive for us and McCarthy. And we got rid of Nolan.

 

before having to be gluten free, i used to keep a cup full of licorice on my desk i finally found some good gluten free licorice though

 

Eagles are in cap hell, old roster, might be firing the coach, Hurts was way better than Wentz obviously but I don’t think he was incredible/plenty of questions there. I think I’d put them at the bottom.

Love how both stereotypes of coaches sticking around too long here and ownership making coaching changes after a few losses both exist simultaneously even though they’re directly contradictory to each other.

 

That being said, coaches sticking around too long is a valid stereotype but that seems to be changing already this season. We fired Nolan and it was announced he wouldn’t be returning next season when there was still 2-3 weeks left in his first season here, lol

Will say, Adam Gase and Mike McCarthy never should have been hired, and I wouldnt fire Doug Pederson off one bad season when the likely alternatives arent gonna be major upgrades. They fired Chip Kelly off one bad year, but, that was a different circumstance (Kelly sucks as a human, it turns out)
