I find Meyer to be insufferable and wouldn’t want him anywhere near my team

it could work out, but I just want nothing to do with him ever. I’ve always hated him.

Matt Campbell is gonna jump to the NFL and be good and people will be talking about him and Matt Rhule and looking at coaches like Lincoln Riley and Neal Brown cause of the Big 12 but we all know why Campbell and Rhule are gonna be good...

 

I really thought riley might have taken an nfl job this offseason but it doesn’t seem like it

 

I mean yeah. Also this. I just don’t feel good about anything he brings to the team in general. And I know the money doesn’t really matter but the principle of paying him more than anyone else is just a slap in the face. You ask me if I want to do that, I’m saying nah. I don’t care if they have unlimited money to give coaches.

 

If we get in a situation where all the coordinators I like take jobs somewhere else, then maybe I’ll be like alright fuck it Urban Meyer. But I’m also saying if we’re giving out $12M per season? Fuckin give that to Arthur Smith immediately so he won’t go anywhere else!

Pretty sure Mullen said he wasn’t offered an interview, but it could just be to protect recruitment.

Meyer spent his playing career playing defense and I’m pretty sure he started off as a defensive coach until he got a HC gig in 2001. Idk I hope the Jaguars avoid him. I think the odds of him failing are pretty high.

Plus with all of the other options out there, it would be a very dumb hire.
