That's not Urbans problem nor job. His job is to win with who he has. He did.

 

Until he comes in here making me defend Urban Meyer because for some reason "hes a shitty person" isnt reason enough to hate him

 

I appreciate this perspective but it does not give me conviction about him. Not when plenty of options out there do have a resume of developing solid NFL quarterbacks and calling more adaptive offenses.

 

Dude I'm not even talking about that. Of course that's another reason I don't want him. But I've stuck to the argument that nothing in his resume has made him look like he'll be a sure success in the NFL. Definitely not for no $12M a year, and definitely not worth overlooking his shitty team cultures. There are options who have both a stronger NFL background and better player management / team culture control. Asking for less money.

It's the principle. We're taking a guy whose existing passing scheme doesn't translate well to the NFL, has never shown the world anything else / any other coaching style than one strictly tailored to highly-recruited college franchises, and we're valuing him more than people who HAVE shown they can do it.

 

but if we're going defensive, Saleh (AS HC****) or Eberflus pls. I just would prefer to go offensive because Lawrence.

I’ve been on a work call for 77 minutes and while I’ve only been listening for about 5 I’m pretty sure nothing has been accomplished during the entire duration of this call
