I can't believe they hired him (Taylor) even. So insane. McVay is the most overrated coach in the NFL imo and Taylor got hired just for sniffing his farts.

Honestly, I might put Gruden on that list. I think you can argue the Raiders and Cardinals have about the same level rosters (middle of the road, with a few elite players), but the Cardinals play in a far tougher division. And its also Grudens fault his roster sucks since he traded away Mack and Cooper, and has back to back seasons where he took 5 losses in the final 7 games to miss the playoffs.

Those final two losses for ARI are bad, but they arent "losing by 30+ points to the fucking Falcons" bad.

 

Ha, was typing my comment out as you said this. Im even taking the salary out...but if you add in that 10yr/$100mil deal, Gruden is #32 on the list by a damn mile. Nobody will return less on their value than he will; and you cant even reasonably fire him for like 3-4 more years.

Cousin Sal was talking about it on the Simmons pod and made a great point of naming all the bad QB’s the Cardinals lost to this year. That’s not just on Kliff and it’s a team game blah blah blah but yeah the number of bad QB’s his team lost to when you have Kyler and Hopkins (yet using both inadequately) is quite the statement.

 

I mean Kyler was hurt, it was a bad year for them but Kyler being hurt is huge.

 

Regarding Diggs: doubles his catches from last year, most catches he’s ever had in a season, most yards he’s had in a season (and over 400 more than last year), 2nd most TD’s he’s had in a season.

just craziness how well that worked out for him and the team right off the bat.

the diggs trade is definitely a scenario where both teams won it, bills got a playmaker they needed to pair with josh allen and the vikings were able to move on from a disgruntled player while also using the bills pick to draft a stud like Jefferson.
