Lol Bill Belichick doesn't have total roster control.

Which team would pass on drafting a QB they believe is better than their QB if they can trade their current QB for a high pick?

    Nope. Supporter

I think the point that most people are trying to make is that you shouldn't move on from your rookie QB after their first year unless something CATASTROPHICALLY bad happened, or like, a Kingsbury situation emerges

Tua just never should've played. This wouldn't even be an issue.

and the dolphins would have been 8-8 at best if that were the case

the people that were saying that Fitz was playing well early in the year were out to lunch. He started 6 games and the team was 3-3 and he didn't play well in like half those games

we *could* just stop overhyping college QBs in general and we might avoid a lot of these convos entirely

I cannot wait until we are having this convo about Lawrence one year from today lol

Chargers would slam a yes if Lawrence fell to them and they could hock Herbert for a first.

I feel like people just forgot about how all the big franchise QBs rn started.

...Mahomes sat a year. Wilson looked great from the start, Rodgers sat, Watson tore his ACL, Brady sat, Matt Ryan looked good.

The most apt comparison to Tua is Josh Allen (Not a good year 1, played more than half the teams games) and they look quite different in shorts.

Ryan's rookie season wouldnt cut it for people today.

I dont subscribe to Stathead but the 11 wins alone has to be fairly rare for a rookie QB. Big Ben, Dak Prescott, Andrew Luck, Wilson,.

  21. Do coaches contracts have incentives?

Like give someone a base salary of say 5 million then if they get 8 wins, it's X amount, 10 wins x amount, etc up and including winning the super bowl.

    Yes, this is fairly common.

Because the Bucs drew a Saturday game Devin White won’t be able to play even in best case scenario. Shouldn’t need him to slow down WFT offense but that defense is much less scary without him.
Between that, the home field, the WFT pass rush, and Tom Brady playing past his bed time I am really starting to like the upset.

  24. Randall Mentzos

I believe in this team. Prestigious

    well, he’s no Oregon QB
