I already have 2 user INTs with Lawrence Taylor, 2 with Charles Woodson, and one with Ronnie Lott.

I know how to build and call an elite defensive team babyyyyy.

 

My team isn’t even the best team I could’ve drafted... I went for chemistry / strategy over just taking BPA. All my players have specific roles and are perfect for the way I use them in different packages.

the last RB to get 6 rushing TD in a game was Gale Sayers in 1965.

The Saints trolled Kamara out of breaking a 55 year old record, one that pre-dates the NFL-AFL merger, and scoring 7 TD because of a backup QB they’re inexplicably obsessed with.

Yeah doing a cutoff at the merger is dumb because that would erase the legacies of Jim Brown, Bart Starr, Vince Lombardi, Gale Sayers, Night Train Lane, Crazy Legs Hirsch etc and also cut in half the careers of Johnny Unitas, Dick Butkus, Deacon Jones etc. the game was iconic across the nation before the merger so you can’t separate the lore from the way the sport was organized at the time.

they made a movie about Ernie Davis and most of us haven’t even heard of him haha. The NFL is big on preserving that era’s accomplishments.

especially the whole, not being able to taste or smell anything... that’s like the clear cut sign of COVID. That’s the first thing that happens that isn’t like other illnesses. You shouldn’t even be chancing it at that point.

Like, I’ve been myself monitoring my allergy attack and making sure it’s not COVID by making sure I can still clearly taste food and can still easily take deep breaths. It’s being extremely negligent to notice a weird unique symptom like that and not automatically treat it like it could be COVID.

 

Hooray, my weird illness WAS just a cold / allergy attack / sinus infection.
