You know what, I’ve changed my mind. I hope the Eagles sign a mediocre corner in FA for half the price of Jones so they can continue to have the same problems every single week.

Jones might not be a ~great~ player, but he’s good and he’s worth paying up for. I don’t care about his career stats when he was playing safety for two years and was a rookie for his first year at corner. I care a lot more about the last two years when he switched back to corner and played great.

Jones is good in coverage and it’s hard to find good corners on the open market. Eagles should sign Byron Jones and I’m here for it.
