If Antonio Gibson isn't healthy I'll be starting Lynn Bowden at RB.

this snowstorm gonna be a dud

earlier in the week they were saying 10-12'' for us and now it looks like 3-5''

which is fine by me because I fucking hate the snow

I miss snow days tbh. When it snowed in Charlotte it was gone after the sun rose but the city was shut down for like three days lol

I wish we got real snow in DC. It snowed for like an hour and then “warmed up” to 36 degrees and started sleeting, rain started turning the snow into slush etc

par for the course tbh. Maybe one out of every 10 major northeastern snowstorms actually hits this swamp. Mostly it’s too humid and too much sea breeze for it to go below freezing often.

i deeply miss snow days and was hoping for one today. Riverdale / Hyattsville / College Park is a great area for walking around to see snow and Christmas lights. Very walkable, charming, diverse suburbs with old-growth trees and cute architecture.

children are demons already without needing to wish for snow. Doing that only adds to their horror.

    Snow is great in moderation.

I would hate a lot of snow.

    1) I imagine the world constantly being wet slush and hard ice, cause it snows and snows and never melts, really sucks by mid January. It’s only a soft playground for like a day... after that it’s like “alright melt already”.

    2) living in an area that is used to it and still goes to work every day in it, means a lot of goddamn shoveling and ice scraping and getting up at 430 AM for work in the morning. It’s definitely not as cool when you don’t get to stay home lol.

    3) In an urban snow season, you cannot find parking. I learned this when I toured Philadelphia right after a March 2018 snowstorm. One of the best shows I ever booked / played... but the snowplows have nowhere to put the snow except to pack it where all the street parking is. I had to carry an amp, a backpack, and two guitars 9 blocks in 16 degree weather on icy sidewalks. And my car barely fit in that spot. Like, how the fuck do y’all get groceries in the winter in urban Philly / Boston???

But I’m definitely good for 3-5 good snow storms per year in a mild winter place. That’s perfect. Baltimore gets perfect snow. so does Asheville NC.

  19. There was a blizzard in 2010 when I lived in pittsburgh for college and it was great because classes were cancelled for days and the bars were still open.

It never ends. Sounds like they are just close contacts but will still be out for Sundays game since that would be day 5 on the list. Hope Dez and Duvernay are ready to step up and make the 4 catches Hollywood and Boykin would have made.

    thats amazing haha.

When I last lived in College Park specifically, in 2010 a rare blizzard hovered over us for a couple days and it snowed almost 4 feet. That was one of the most fun times I can remember from my last time through college.

    @dorfmac @Fuego @GraveDigger @preppyak do you guys remember Snowmageddon in 2010 in Maryland/Virginia

Here is 19 year old Randall enjoying the first big snowstorm I’d ever seen. (This was after the first night of snow, it snowed big time again that night)

I feel like that’s such a Philly specific thing to be explicitly be like “fuck you that parking spot is mine I’ll actually fight you for it”
