Two QB system, both mobile. One starts at QB, one starts at RB and just spam HB Pass + O.

 

I don't even get paid! I basically am volunteering. It'll definitely be an interesting dynamic because the team is awful and the coach is awful and I 100% already just want his job.

 

This is my flag football strategy with Jeff! Almost every single play starts with an option with one of us running toward our handiness.

 

Always have an answer (even if it's not 100%, those kids don't know a damn thing). That just comes with being prepared for the most part. Have a plan for each practice - I'm sure your head coach will have a set schedule or he should, but always have a pretty consistent routine for individual work. Don't let it get stale, but don't go too crazy either. Hammer fundamentals in those periods, especially in the summer.

And treat every kid the same. I see a lot of young coaches come in and neglect younger kids or kids with no talent. You have to see ahead because you don't keep them forever. Whether they are a superstar or completely awful, don't show favoritism. Those are the two biggest takeaways I can give anyone coaching kids.

 

Appreciated and I'll be sure to be coming back for more advice. I taught kids graphic design for half a year and even then you could see the difference in not differentiating between the naturally talented kids, and the kids working on it.

 

You want everything to be the same, especially offensively. Obviously kids aren't going to be the same size/speed, but you want all routes to have the same depth (especially quick game). You're throwing to a spot in high school for the most part because you're not going to see much man coverage outside of the red zone.

 

Very disappointing that he's missed so much time. I was looking forward to seeing what Brady would do with that skillset.

 

kinda almost like giving him 9 million touches last year was going to eventually catch up to him....

Flores and McDermott are two of my top three favorite coaches in the NFL so I'm good with that.
