Wrapping it back to football: It's like how I hope and think it's possible for Pittsburgh to go to the Super Bowl, but I expect it to be New England again until proven otherwise.

Also PA can't do shit because they have a red state senate and an outdated state congress system (also red) for like ever so their governor can't do jack shit without republicans approving it. Local/state elections realllly matter.

 

In an ideal world, sure. In this current world, nah. They'd probably get steamrolled since they're both from the Northeast and on the more liberal side of the party.

 

That's only true of current voters. Only 13% of the voters so far were 18-29, for example, and that's the strongest group of Bernie supporters / people who want the government to go further left.

My opinion is that Bernie / Warren on the same ticket would get way more people on that side of the spectrum in the booths. Because most of that group doesn't vote because they feel unrepresented. (plus voter suppression but I think it's a little of both.)
