@EntryLevelDave okay okay I’ll give you a real one, Bill Belicheck has been literally the best defensive mastermind in football the last 25 years and no one else lays that claim.

And I’m not saying the Pats always had a top ranked defense, some years they were bad, but everything the Patriots have done successfully on offense as well, also comes from him understanding almost to a psychic degree exactly how the other team is gonna try to gameplan against him. That’s how he goes 8-8 with Cam Newton. That’s how Tom Brady broke records with shitty skill position players. He transforms his entire offense from opponent to opponent, from year to year because he consistently knows what direction the league / his division / other playoff teams are trending, and what the defensive coordinator is likely to do.

I hate a lot of things about the Patriots and I think they cheat harder than everyone else, and the reason it bugs me so much is cause they don’t NEED to cheat and be petty, Belicheck is so good already without that shit. It’s just insult to injury. Very conflicting opinions on this end because I respect Belicheck more than any other coach strategically, but integrity wise I don’t respect that organization’s competitive approach at all haha. I’d probably really like the Patriots and Belicheck if they won with class.

BUT, maybe I’m just salty because even though my team hardly cheats at all, and cuts bait with Ramsey and Smith once bad rumors off the field come up, and has a POC owner. The Jags still treat the players and fans and local community like shit, and don’t even win games, so... what’s the point of in-game integrity hahaha.

And when has anybody “won with class” anyway... Jerry Rice used stickum, the Steelers have immortalized Ben Rapelisberger, the Cowboys have probably the biggest example of racism, racketeering and extortion in Jerry Jones, Peyton Manning sued and slandered a woman and ruined her career as a trainer after she came forward that he sexually assaulted her, Ray Lewis killed a guy, Darren Sharper had the INT that won it for New Orleans, Chiefs having Tyreek Hill is repeatedly atrocious and they also went for Kareem Hunt and Frank Clark, etc. Seahawks and Packers are the only non underdog Super Bowl winners I can remember that don’t have shitty scandals attached.
