The unnecessary roughness call on Zay when he hit Cam running out of bounds is one of the worst calls I've seen all season

 

Hmm I haven’t seen that play but if you say he hit Cam when he was running out bounds it’s hard to believe it’s one of the worst calls considering the weekly terrible roughing the passer calls we see

 

the guy came in w his helmet and made helmet to helmet contact if u look at it from the ground angle just saying

 

I think this call was one of the worst I’ve seen. Benefit of the doubt in real time it might of looked like he hit him on the head but what really happened from the fact that Mahomes knocked JPP’s arm up into the helmet to taking away the interception makes it one of the worst calls of the year imo

 

Lol I mean, I was joking when I was hyping it up but if you’ll recall, my legit take was “offense will be bad, QB/Passing will be bad, will win games running/defense. 8-8” and then when they signed Cam I bumped it to 9-7. I’m fairly confident Stidham all year would have gotten us to 8-8 still.

 

I am feverishly anti-Stidham. I would have been legitimately blown away if he won 8 games. Cam has that it factor to him and also has the remnants of an elite QB somewhere inside him. Stidham has the remnants of a mediocre college QB.

 

I think Bill could guide a carpet elf to at least 6-10 lol. 8-8 was more a function of a good defense and good running attack and good scheme and easy schedule than a “I like stidham” thing.

 

I agree on principle, but Stidham has a sub 50% completion percentage and a QBR under 18 in the games he’s played this year (against a mediocre Chiefs defense and a 49ers D post-injury depletion) so I wonder if he’s bad enough to be an exception to the Belichick QB magic rule

 

Eh, the stop and go of his career has probably hurt him a lot. If he was the starter from day one, his numbers would have stabilized.

 

Stidham doesnt deserve a name that is almost Studham
