I like my Psychology class... I've learned really valuable stuff, a lot more real-life applicable information than i expected to get out of the entry level PSYC100 class.

but.... I'm also extremely glad I just finished my last PSYC writing assignment. This class had two writing assignments every week and really picky grading rubrics. It's so hard to get an A on these and I'm so glad I got through them.

Really hoping my last two get graded well cause that's probably the difference between an A and a B+ in the class. I did extra credit assignments just in case but yeah.

 

Yeah I do not miss college classes

 

This is one of those classes where the material is so good that I could see myself re-reading the online textbook just for my own sake, I'd really like to retain a lot of the things that I was taught. Especially when it comes to bias, conflict, and relationships.

But doing this class for a GRADE was stressful as fuck. Easily my hardest class - it's not necessarily more work but it's impossible to get a 100% on anything so your grade just feels vulnerable the whole semester. All my other classes have felt like "safe" A's cause i kept stacking up the 100s on any assignment that isn't a test or quiz.

Wild that I'm taking 200-300 level programming classes but the FIRST psychology class felt harder

 

That’s funny I distinctly remember psych being a really hard class but I enjoyed the material so much that I continued reading works from the people that were covered in class in my spare time. I ended up switching my major to psych because of that.

 

Anyone else think it's absolutely wild that we're about to watch Asante Samuel's kid play in the NFL?

 

I wonder if he too is gonna blow a Super Bowl.
