    Lets Go. Prestigious

Xavien Howard is having a better year this year than Gilmore did last year and I guarantee he won't finish top 3 in DPOY voting

The vibe im getting is its going to be Saleh or Bieniemy for Houston's next HC

I guess im ok with both... Saleh moreso because he's doing more with less

The wording of this tweet bugs me. Is god known for being rich? Don’t we all have more money than him? Does he charge an entrance fee to heaven?

Best way to do this is to make the franchise tag scaling and three years all GTD.

Wanna franchise me? Sure. I'll play for three years and I get the average of the highest paid three guys at my position, all fully GTD.

or just ban the franchise tag all together?

steelers defense will be considerably less fun to watch without Dupree. Fucking sucks that was almost definitely his last game as a Steeler

Under this plan, a player has to wait until their 8th or 9th season before having any say in what team they play for, where they live, where their family lives etc etc etc.

Not sure that's the answer. Fully guaranteeing someone's contract making it the average of the three highest paid players at their position, scaling (up) each year is a contract I don't really see anyone turning down anyway.

Yeah if you really want to get into it, ban the draft. But those things aren't all that plausible.

And again, the old: You also don't have to play in the NFL if you want to choose what team you play for and where you live.

I'd also be fine with banning the draft, but doing away with the franchise tag, shrinking the length of rookie contracts etc isn't like...that crazy of an idea lol.

If the NFLPA had any form of leadership whatsoever, all of these things would be super possible.

Totally fine with all that. But I just don't think the NFL is very forward thinking.

If you want to lock someone in to a contract and pay them for it, fine. But they need it GTD beyond one year.

Dupree would've been playing under (at least) a three year, 93 MM contract, fully GTD if you did the three year tag. He'd be okay with that I think.

    The rivalry is back on

he is eligible to come off the list on Saturday if he has been negative since the day after his positive test and I have heard nothing either way about his status. My gut is no, but we’ll see

Why even draft a WR that high if you have Parker / Robinson / Williams? Go get Pitts or something.

The Dolphins really fleeced the cocky asshole Texans lmao.

Its truly amazing how weak the NFLPA is. MLB held off playing for like 2 months because the players union forced some level of accountability. NBA got a whole damn bubble instituted, had the space for players decide not to play one day, AND got the owners to offer up their arenas as voting sites.

NFLPA can barely get the NFL to maintain testing, let alone demand extra bye weeks, etc.

You can't act like it's the NFLPA as a legal team, it's the players. The players basically refuse to use their leverage.
