So the Steelers lost their bye, their mini bye, and now even have a shorter weak from Tuesday-Sunday. All because THE OTHER TEAM fucked up and broke protocol.

Of course, they are also all inside the 5-day window, so this magically played Tues game could theoretically include Lamar (and a bunch of Ravens), but it can 100% not include Tuitt and these guys since they would be inside the 5-day window.

Like, there is no protocol that is 100% fair, but, the one they've created where "we tested positive late in the week and it hurts us more" is definitely the most bullshit one.

 

pretty sure they’re out a minimum of 10 or 14 days (too lazy to look it up) if they actually test positive. The 5 day is for close contact with a negative test. So a ton of ravens won’t play Tuesday, but could play next Sunday (they should’ve missed 2 games with the original schedule)

still seems fucked to watch the league bend over backwards to accommodate a single team

Nah, I saw this a day or two ago when Lamar tested positive.

It's 5 days if asymptomatic + back to back days of negative tests
Its supposed to be 10+ days if symptomatic, but even then, multiple days without symptoms + multiple negative tests + doctors OK can clear you faster.
