You'd think that would get old but it doesn't.

 

Also it's looking like I need to replace my roof and that really really sucks.

 

Planning on doing that at some point next year. Really looking forward to it...

 

I have like three leaks I recently noticed so the first guy that came out gave me a quote of $2,000 to fix and said a new roof would be in the 10-12K range. No way I'd pay 20% of the cost of a new roof to fix a few leaks. I have a guy here now looking at it and before I said anything he told me I needed a new roof lol. He's taking measurements now so we'll see what the damage is.

 

Yeah, there's no point in a quick fix if it costs that much.

We got our house price reduced significantly because the roof showed signs of wear/tear. It's an anticipated fix, but still not a fan of forking over that kind of cash. I think we need new windows in places eventually too.

Our covered deck in the back has a separate roof that's in bad shape, but I got our contractor to come patch it up for like $600 right before we moved in (the previous owner paid for it). Not worried about that one because it's not actually attached to the house.
