Anyone know the story behind Matt Miller (NFL Draft Scout) getting fired by Bleacher Report?

But on a serious note Bleacher Report is going more video based I think. They definitely aren't going to push articles as much and I have to assume he's one of the better paid guys.

 

I can’t stand the guy. Just interesting to see they let him go because he’s been with B/R since basically the beginning.

I was thinking maybe he did something shitty but maybe they are just parting ways over content.

 

Yeah I know they asked him to cover baseball (in addition to his football content) because Turner has the broadcasting rights to the MLB but he has never covered baseball before so I'm guessing talks just broke down when discussing a contract.

 

this is a weird week scheduling wise

there are five 1pm games and six 4pm games...all of the 1pm games suck and most of the 4pm games are really good

the best prime time game of the week is actually TNF (Colts-Titans)

 

Going to be nice for betting though so it's hard for me to complain.

Shad Khan is definitely stupid enough to look at this and think hiring Raheem Morris or Byron Leftwich is a good plan.

 

Thats actually an amazing policy, Im impressed they made it carry real weight. AND the added bonus of making it likely that that coach/GM has even more picks to work with.

 

They wouldn’t get the additional picks for a few years, only if the new hire sticks with the team passed 2 years. But the previous employer team gets them immediately. Which is pretty awesome of them to reward the teams building the talent.
