Okay, that's what I figured. Someone was telling me he was on Belichick's level and well...no. But no one is. It's unfair to judge coaches that way. He's on Pete Carroll's level lol

 

Yeah, there's is no other Belichick. There are guys that can sometimes coach on that level and Mike Tomlin is absolutely one of them but there is no one ON Belichick's level. Remember when people were ready to crown Doug Pederson?

 

That's kinda where I'm at. Any given Sunday, or any given season, someone can get hot. But there's a level of consistency to Bill's work that no one has ever matched.

Jags have the most draft picks (11), the most cap space, and an actually great young core. I'm really hoping that's a big enough sell for Brady.

Just give him all the money. Make him the highest paid coach in the world for all I care.

 

as an aside I've really cooled on Bieniemy because I feel it could be another B'OB/TB scenario

I could be off base, and I wouldn't be that upset if the Texans did pursue Bieniemy, but I've atleast seen Brady and Daboll be successful without the best QB in the league

Bieniemy may turn out as the best of the bunch, but a similar scenario scares me.. atleast his demeanor is far different than B'OB.

I'm going to be obsessively wanting Jeaux Brady in Jacksonville to the point where we could get Bill Belichick and I'll be a little bit bummed.
