if a player is playing on a 5th year option, he should not be eligible for franchise or transition tags IMO

I have paper copies, for some reason they didn't send me digital. So I have to scan them.

But the first two months of 2020 really hit hard financially between my son's hospital bills (vote Bernie people) and we have a pretty large tax bill because my wife didn't fill out her W4 correctly last year.

So the project is on hold and instead we are doing a fence and a new patio since we wanted to do something and it's much less expensive.

Pretty simple solution is to make a player on a franchise tag not tradeable. Tag a guy to work out a long-term deal or pay him top 5 money for one season, and thats it.

Also, yeah, I agree with this. Throw in that you can not tag a player consecutively and that a 5th year option is considered a franchise tag (since its for top level money, fully guaranteed, just like a franchise tag).

lol it's kinda funny because most of the big media market teams are so bad who'd wanna be there? Like is anyone itching to get to the Jets or Giants?

Franchise tag should give a player 5yrs of the highest price for the position
