The 49ers are gonna play the Packers, its gonna cause 10-20 more cases, and their going to literally create community spread week to week among NFL teams.

 

Even for the nfl playing this game is incredibly stupid. Just push it back to at least Sunday. That does nothing to impact the schedule. This is easy.

I'd reckon that at least 90% of the thursday night games in my life I was unaware of until about 6pm on Thursday.

 

I’d almost guarantee that if the game was on Sunday instead of Thursday (the only game) it would be rescheduled. But, it’s a Thursday night game and the NFL wants it’s money.

 

That didn’t stop them from moving the Chiefs Thursday night game tho

it really makes no sense why one game got moved but this one hasn’t

 

Especially since I dont think we've gone a single day without new positives from one team or the other. There is a 100% chance someone is positive while playing tomorrow but their test doesnt come back positive til like, Saturday.

 

this is why I don’t understand why the Sunday morning tests aren’t rapid tests. AJ Dillon and Humphrey had positive Sunday morning tests but didn’t get the results until Sunday night when both teams had noon (or 3:30 games)... why bother doing a Sunday morning test then? Oh, so the NFL can say they’re doing testing but not actually care what the results are,

 

Is every team catching COVID this week what the hell
