Yeah that was a weird game, I watched that one yesterday. 4 total possessions in the first half and 4 touchdowns. Packers defense obviously has to be better against the run against SF but that is really all they have to do is slow down the run. I don’t think the packers defense is really that bad or else they would have lost every game this year haha

 

their defense is terrible - the only reason they win is because the offense puts up a lot of points and then the other team has to pass the ball instead of running

but when it's close and the other team can run the Packers can't stop anyone

 

That’s a good point. If other teams can just keep pace for the first few drives the packers look very beatable. Should be interesting but I have way more faith in the packers stopping the 49ers a few times without their qb and best weapon than the 49ers stopping the packers without most of their best defensive players.

 

I mean look at last year's NFC title game - it doesn't matter who the QB was - I think Jimmy G threw like 8 passes? Shannahan knows how to exploit the terrible Packers defense

 

I think I get to root for my home team with whatever voracity I see fit, but point taken.

Steelers having basically no major injuries (Bush aside) is its own little miracle so far. Usually by now our O-line and D-line would be decimated.

 

Being healthy seems to be a good thing. Huh.

 

Atlanta is usually a team decimated by injuries; so they too are having a special year by being absolute garbage while being healthy
