I have lived in several different parts of the country and all I have ever seen are Pats, Dolphins, Seahawks, Saints and to a slightly lesser extent Packers jerseys. I highly doubt these people were Patriot fans before 2000. Even in Atlanta when they went to the super bowl, I saw more Pats jerseys. I would be interested to see that data @EntryLevelDave

Part of the Patriot bands wagon can probably be attributed to faux-patriotic bullshit post 9/11 though

I also don’t think an overall of a state saying they hate a team is correlated to the amount of that team’s fans throughout the country though. I’d be interested to see the breakdown of each state but I doubt they went that deep

 

There was survey data that showed 75% of fans were cheering for the Rams in the last Super Bowl but 51% of that block didn't give a shit about the Rams, just wanted the Pats to lose lol.

Eagles fans cover more area. Pittsburgh fans are more localized or in Ohio/WV.

 

There are teams I hate. (Saints, Cowboys, Pats) Then there’s teams I don’t give a shit about at all and hate it when they’re televised. (Bengals, Jets, any AFC south team)

 

Texans are clowns, I hate the Steelers. Everyone else idc about.

 

Lions should trade for Gilmore too.

Yeah, Ramsey was like 24 or 25 when he was traded? I think Gilmore is 30. Still a great player, but he already looks like he's starting to slow down a bit.

 

So, Steelers fans hate the Bengals more than the Ravens, largely because of Burfict and that core group of shitters. We still hate the Ravens, but its more in a mutual respect way. And I bet there are a lot of Central PA people who are Ravens fans as well post Andy Reid.

Whereas everyone in the NFC East fucking HATES the Cowboys, and there's an old Cowboys/Steelers hatred off the super bowl and the 90s.

 

I hate the Bengals now only because of @CarpetElf

 

I thought Bengals hatred was more of a big brother/little brother thing since the rivalry has been so one-sided.
