Steelers? I guess they had the Maddox years, but I think they still made the playoffs with him. They’ve never been truly awful from a win-loss standpoint.

 

who was after O’Donnell? Cordell? I feel like their defense carried them for a few years to where they weren’t awful but certainly didn’t have a QB to write home about but I may be blanking on a lot

Kordell & Mike Tomczak. I think they were using Stewart as a gadget player before making the switch. They were never awful but their peak was usually 10-11 wins because their offense was more about Jerome Bettis. Still, no 3-5 win seasons or deep rebuilds.

 

Yeah the Steelers had some QB doldrums that held them back. It’s really just the packers and pats that have had something like 20 years of steady contention. Before them the 49ers went from Montana to Young but I was too young to really be burned by Montana. I guess the colts had that going with Manning to Luck now that I think about it. The crazy thing about the patriots is it was just one quarterback.

 

I think in my 32 years the Steelers have like five losing seasons. So I can't complain.

This is that dumb shit I was talking about with WFT stadium. Those should be prime seats. Wasted because a pillar blocks view. Even if you’re to the left or right well, then you can’t see one of the red zones. The last time I went to this stadium my seats were scooted up like one row back from where the pillar is.

I remember building up in my head how great it was to finally get to go. I remember when the season ticket waitlist was 10 years long. The lore of the R*****s definitely at least preceded their on field talent. But then I learned that was because WFT themselves laundered the tickets by buying and reselling them through a partner, lmfao.

 

But hey!! At least after they lose the game you and your buddies can cheer up by walking over to the... oh. Wait.



There’s nothing but these disrespectfully priced 4 story townhouses. Owned by people who probably got sick of the traffic and noise and sports parties 2 bad WFT seasons and a whole Washington Post expose’ ago.... and now living there for the cost of just being in DC itself is a joke that’s no longer funny.

Just a recap on what I mentioned earlier hahah. I just don’t think any part of rooting for WFT is good, it’s like if the Jaguars still had a shitty stadium. & that’s why the Ravens were always the team of choice for me in MD.
