My understanding is Haskins is their 2020 starter for sure. I think it was a requirement of hiring any coach.

If they want to trade out of #2, they have to believably smokescreen that they might take one of the QBs.

 

I honestly think Washington will be pretty decent this coming season under Rivera.

 

Yeah. It’s probably a smokescreen. It just doesn’t seem super legit unless they try to move from Haskins or he was shown not to be good.

 

Washington should be decently good this year.

I think Haskins will probably be average/good, it's kind of hard to tell since Jay Gruden seems to be a QB killer.

 

I'm not sure what Washington's cap situation is, but if they have the money they should absolutely make a run at Hooper.

If I remember correctly, the biggest issue the Redskins had were injuries

 

Plus they're about to have a DOPE DL.

 

Idk, they’ve got 5 or 6 starters solidly below league average on each side of the ball and only have 6 picks to address those holes (2 of which are 7th rounders and 1 of which is Chase Young). That number is even worse on offense if you don’t make the assumptions that they find a way to get Scherff back and Williams back on the field. I think they’re at least a year away

I don't know how good Scott Turner is gonna be as OC but I think Rivera will be good for the team as a whole

Jay gruden intentionally tried to ruin him because they didn't get Daniel jones, I'm slightly optimistic about an improvement in year 2.

 

Eh, I disagree. I think he didn’t want him cause he knew coaching his pocket presence was gonna be an uphill battle. Inversely, Daniel Jones best trait is probably pocket presence.

A team with a struggling O line is the last place you want to teach a QB footwork, spatial awareness, and patience.
