hot take- Tannehill was better than Brady was last year

 

Kind of easy to do when you have Henry and AJ Brown

 

Over half the league was better than Tom Brady imo.

 

Brady was very much not playing at his usual high level and wasn't performing well. With that said his WRs sucked and his front office made some stupid moves to try to get him mediocre players (and I was wrong about those moves) and I can totally see why he'd be frustrated with their performances. But like Dave has said, if you're a QB with the abilities of Brady you need to elevate your players more and stop complaining. Be a pro.

I don't think Tannehill elevated his players as much as Mariota suppressed them, but he played better overall of course. I do think if the roles were reversed Tannehill would have looked at as maybe the Dalton line and Brady would've succeeded like crazy. But hey that's life.

 

Brady never trusted his receivers, which, yeah, they probably aren't great but when your QB doesn't trust you, it's not going to end well and he's not going to throw your way often. It's going to be so weird if Brady does leave

 

I just think that if you’re a QB as accomplished as TB12 and you’re trying to extend your brand, you do so with a team that has some prestige. I don’t think the titans have any.

Honestly kind of seemed like Brady was just a sourpuss all season after the whole AB fiasco, he completely ignored all of his off field shit cause he wanted a good WR to throw to, says a lot about his character ;)
