  3. I'm sick of seeing people on social media bragging about their five mile runs every morning or their 1.5 hour training sessions. We get it you are fit and can drag your ass out of bed at 5am. NERDS

On the other hand if I woke up early and was productive once I'd never shut up about it so I get it

  5. There was a time where I set my alarm for like 5am for a week straight and just snoozed until 630 because am I really going to get up that early and workout?

I just started getting up at 5:30 AM for the gym about a month ago and as long as I down some pre-workout it's not too hard to do.

    Nope. Supporter

I cannot workout first thing in the morning, i've done it a few times and it just feels like such a waste of time and that i'm not getting anything out of it. I need the full day to wake up and then I go after work

    there is one way out

There is a gym in my building, so I started going after work a couple of days a week. But only like 30 - 45 minutes, because I have other things to do.

Hmm that's tough, really enjoyed all of them. I would say Boston/Cambridge because we explored it the most with Portland ME a very close second. Really liked Newport RI but we didn't get to spend enough time there unfortunately

I wish I got out of bed an hour early for a good reason but it's to watch a shitty soap opera with my wife, it sucks and I hate it but I'm in too deep to quit and that's how they fucking get you

Just by not having a car and having to bike up hills all the time, I’m probably just as fit for $1000 less per month (if you include car note, gas, insurance, repairs, gym membership, various narcissism costs, probably goes to a spa and pays for car washes).

AND I wake up whenever I want usually.

This is what I want. Maybe after 5 years of being in programming and establishing myself, I’ll be able to leverage this kind of flexibility to work on projects.

The only difference is I actually make myself wake up if there’s something productive to do, or to make plans with a friend the next morning, and catch up the sleep later. Like, I’ll be up at 9 AM if I’m chilling with a 9-5-schedule friend or if I have laundry to do, even if I only got 4-5 hours sleep.

He will just not make plans on any work day and only after 4-5 pm on off days haha.

Its basically the same structure as I used in college; I just work so much better in the evenings and most of my best creative work comes after like 10pm. I HATE mornings.

See, my wife wants me to sleep in til 10am on a morning she's home because that means she gets a whole Hallmark movie in from 8-10. She's probably rooting for me to sleep til noon so she can watch another
