I just now realized I'll already be off work July 3-5 so I'll probably take one of those other days off too fuck it

 

Literally I moved to Atlanta and found an $1175 2br and thought “hell yes we got here before the gentrification!” Then they sold the complex to new owners and they’re raising the rent to $1900 this summer lmfao

 

Oh hell nah fuck that I’ll go to Texas in the fall that summer weather can get out my face lol

 

@Joe4th has the right idea cuz fall is the same temperature anyway so might as well go here when less people wanna be here

January: Rain
February: Semi-cold
March: Tornadoes
April: Tornadoes and rain
May: Rain
June - September: Everything's on fire
October: Still hot but also rainy
November: Semi-cold and one of the better months IMO
December: Semi-cold and sometimes tornadoes

 

This February hasn't been too bad though, sometimes it's cold in February but right now offsets that I think

North FL:

January / February - much colder than it looks because of the humidity, with the occasional 75 degree day. 45 degrees in FL = 25-30 degrees everywhere else

March - INSANE allergies. You WILL get a sinus infection and you’re lucky if that doesn’t progress into bronchitis.

April - fuckin nice as shit

May through literally early October - Either an aggressive & dangerous thunderstorm or being baked alive. Though usually you don’t even have to choose, both happen in the same day most days. Even at night and during the rain, you are still baking alive in 87 degrees and full humidity.

October / November - Russian roulette between “fuckin nice as shit” and “Hurricane”

December - grey / mild / insane allergies again

 

I'd like to visit Austin some day

 

I'ma buy a bike once I get my tax refund and enjoy Austin with less traffic

I was considering renting a bike while in ATL just to see how much I liked it, ended up not doing that but seeing you able to live life with a bike there made me like "Yeah I'ma do this in Austin too"

It’s fun tbh. And correct me if I’m wrong but Atlanta is def more hilly than Austin, no? Which would make it less difficult especially in the summer (riding up hills in 90+ degree weather fuckin sucks can’t lie about that, lol.)

Austin's pretty hilly haha, I'd say there's more hills in Austin than in Atlanta but that Atlanta's hills are taller?

 

Why does everything in Texas have to be soooo far away Jocelyn's grandparents spend their winters somewhere around Corpus Christi and she's always wanted to visit them out there but that is so far from everywhere else lol

 

Yeah taller hills are worse haha. Which seems obvious but really I cannot stress that enough. It’s not how steep it is, anyone can do a little sprint-cycle for a short time and get up a small hill. The tough part is how long you gotta pedal up that motherfucker.

 

Corpus and El Paso are the only 2 city-ish places that pretty much aren't doable for me haha, you're right it's so far

There are other smaller places I wouldn't go to too but yeah

 

Plus it is just nowhere NEAR being a top beach destination in the southeast lol
