Did Trevor have an awful first half? Yes, but it quite literally does not matter anymore lol. He proved he can face that much self-inflicted adversity and STILL get red-hot mid game and come back from it.

That’s a point for Trevor becoming elite, not a point for him not being good enough yet. Most QBs could not do what he did in the second half and just erase 4 INTs out of their brain and have a near perfect QB rating after that

I can equal parts criticize him for being absolute dogshit for a half and having it in him to actually play good, competent football for another half. It all matters.

idk, coming back from that is not separate. It’s all one thing. He started out awful but MORE than made up for it, he literally played like that first half didn’t even happen. No matter how we frame this discussion we cannot ignore the POISE there. Football players aren’t robots. It takes some serious confidence, emotional regulation, trust, self awareness to consciously erase bad habits and create rhythm, etc to be able to come back from that. It wasn’t just “a bad half and a good half” it was overall an incredible game
