I just don’t think Russ is the answer for the type of offense Sirianni seemingly wants to run, which is throwing it a lot. Russ often goes off-script, holding onto the ball for too long in search of the big play, which leads to sacks

He’d be a huge improvement over Hurts, but this team just had so many areas that need to be addressed that coughing up all that draft capital is likely going to hurt them in the long run

 

With that said, Howie is absolutely going to call about Russ. Hell, he’s probably going to call about Watson too, unfortunately

We just have different opinions on Russell Wilson then. I think he’s an excellent passer, on script or off.

 

I think Russ is good, but I’ve also seen him play abysmally these last two seasons, especially against two-high defenses when the deep shots aren’t always there. Dude doesn’t like to check down or throw to the middle of the field often

 

I badly wanna see Minshew in this game but the Eagles will live and die by Hurts
