They went out and spent more than any team ever and completely revamped their draft strategy. What do you mean you don’t see them being willing to make big changes?

 

But what did they add of consequence? They brought back a few past patriots, an underperforming TE, a half decent WR. I like the sentiment but the end result wasn’t anything special.

 

I think Bourne, Brown, and Judon, were good adds this offseason, in addition to Henry

But they also made other head-scratching signings, most notably Mills. Smith seemed like a good signing at the time, but that has truly proven to be a disaster thus far

 

I would say Judon was a good add but he fell off - though in fairness it could be covid effects.

 

Id love to have more athleticism at the LB position because Hightower and Bentley aren’t cover LBs, I’d love to have a pass rusher who can at least look at a pic of a QB let alone get close to a real one, and I’d love for Williams to never step on the field again let alone be CB2.

 

Hey I'm frustrated right now too but stop trolling lol. Judon, Henry, Bourne were all great signings. Mills and Van Noy have been fine. And they hit on 3 draft picks. Agholor and Jonnu were bad, but the Patriots had a B+ offseason at worst.

 

I want Brady back as player/coach/gm! Haha

 

Judon, Brown, Bourne and Henry, Mac, Stevenson, Barmore have all been hits.

Mills has been fine.

Jonnu has been big let down in the passing game but big help in the running game. Still a disaster of a contract.

Agholar is just a total meh in every way.

I'm not saying anything groundbreaking here, but I think the Pats really need to get serious about finding a WR1 for the offense. Bourne and Meyers are solid players, but they are definitely better suited to be complimentary pieces

They turned a 7-9 going nowhere disaster to watch into a 10-7 playoff team in one offseason with a rookie QB. Pats fans need to accept Brady is gone and things are gonna be harder now.

It’s honestly just very frustrating to me listening to Pats fans who don’t seem to understand how incredible and unprecedented that run was. Being a good team is really fucking hard.

 

It's almost like having the best QB to ever walk this planet helps cover up a hole or two

 

I can honestly handle the Patriots defense falling apart over the past month and getting embarrassed tonight but goddamn it's hard to watch them make so many stupid mistakes. There has never been a BB team that killed themselves with penalties like this one.

I genuinely take Eagle losses better from the SB 52 win, it makes everything sting less. That's from one god damn SB win.
