Rivers had his best year wasted when the Chargers had the worst special teams in league history.

 

Dang, brutal. Too many times where they just didn’t execute on scoring plays and that was the difference (even if the refs tried to give them one more undeserved chance). Good game, good season, glad they didn’t get blown out by Buffalo, and hopefully they take that next step next year or at least are similarly fun

 

Would you want Rivers to stick around another year? I think he still looks like a good QB who can compete to take us further next year

No idea why they ruined them, just needed to lose the gold and go back to their regular blue/yellow and blue/white; the numbers are the worst.

I’m open to it. If they feel that there’s a way to fix the QB position long-term out there this offseason, I don’t think Rivers’ presence stops you from jumping on that. But he’s a solid enough option that I’d prefer keeping him to forcing it or taking a different veteran stopgap option

It looks like Heinicke only took snaps in the Carolina game and was ok?? I don’t know anything about him but I took Wash with the points give me hope :/

2) time with the kids
3) more beers

 

He definitely showed something in his limited time. I’ll take that over Alex in his current state, dude can’t move or plant.

I think he’s active but not healthy enough force into the lineup unless you absolutely need him. I don’t think this is him being benched. It’s more that if Wolford goes down, they would rather have a hurt Goff than Bortles lol
