I forgot that Aiyuk is still under contract, but I do wonder if he might be a trade candidate along with other guys from the 2020 class who haven’t gotten extensions yet (though I expect Jefferson and Lamb to get theirs). But I hear you for sure. They absolutely shouldn’t get complacent. You just never know what might happen with injuries. The Eagles have invested so little into their WR corps behind Brown and Smith and, while it doesn’t seem like a big deal at first, it’s a huge issue when one goes down with an injury. Same with Goedert. I feel like passing games really need at least three legit receiving threats. Building the plane out of two is just asking for trouble. I think Marquise Brown is perhaps the most notable WR that I think will hit free agency. The Colts could easily tag Pittman, just like the Bengals could tag Higgins. Otherwise, I think Curtis Samuel is still a guy worth kicking the tires on (and perhaps might be a quietly good fit as another YAC threat in Houston). Like you said, I think the draft or a trade is gonna be the best path for teams to address needs at WR. I’m expecting to be underwhelmed by the group of free agents this offseason
There’s just not enough things to say about Demeco and Stroud, and Slowik should be getting some real credit too.
He's too afraid to say it so I will - Bryce got absolutely fucked. Stroud deserves all the credit in the world but it feels like people are actually giving him ALL the credit. This team has IT.
I’ve always found Cooper to be one of the more overrated WRs in the league. No disrespect at all to Stingley and I think Cooper is still good, but Cooper has been doing this for years whenever dealing with an injury or facing a good corner
