Brian Johnson has been with the team for the entire Sirianni era as the QB coach his first two years and now the OC and playcaller. I have a difficult time believing the players, especially Hurts, not being into the promotion. He just hasn’t had a great feel for calling plays. Maybe that changes in year two as the OC, but that assumes he makes it to year two

But there was the ESPN article from earlier today that noted some friction between Sirianni and Johnson and their philosophies/approaches, for lack of a better word, and Tim McManus noted that Sirianni has taken playcalling duties from him at times during certain situations.

Just feels like a lot of the smoke is around the coaches, but especially Sirianni

And this has been a thing for the entire Sirianni era. This team just has not looked good against the blitz. Not Hurts, not the offensive line, not the passing options. It’s been embarrassing
