That 11-5 year was the same year! Colts were 13-3 and Titans were 10-6 so the Texans were last at 8-8

So playoffs were missed and a shitty pick was received which was used on Duane Brown because we're great at first round picks

 

The NFC North has been so weird

It's truly unbelievable we still haven't managed to win the division since I was a 1 year old

 

Meanwhile that was the last time Tom Brady owned us in the fourth quarter of the AFC title game. Fucking Randy Moss being on that team was cheating lol

 

I genuinely feel like a team with a top 5 defense/pass rush and both Fred Taylor / MJD would've been worthy of the title and could've beaten the Giants.

We had two elite runningbacks who both couldn't be stopped haha. Pretty sure we ran for like 2,500 yards that year.

Edit: 2391 yards. We averaged 32 attempts per game and STILL had a 4.6 YPC average. Plus we threw a lot of passes to MJD and ran it with Garrard too.

 

my cousin is a bears fan who is around 16 years old.

He texts me Saturday night saying "wow texans choke job and I ignore it because I wasn't in the mood.

I see Sunday night the bears lost because of a field goal so I text him "wow bears choke job " an he replies "nooo that wasn't a choke job because it was close not a blowout like yours"

I text him "do you know what a choke job is???"

no reply :(

hopefully he realizes that was all playful banter.
