Mostert kicking ass all the way down the field and then you take him out for the final 4 plays just smooth brain shit
I truly get and understand why we rotate backs so much in today's game, especially when your backs are aging, but for me it's a time and place thing. When you're trying to rush down the field to score quick, or need big plays to catch up, why are you putting your 3rd string guy in on meaningful downs? Keep your best players out on the field as much as possible in those situations. Drives me crazy when NFL teams do that. Obvious caveats to situations where you have truly special 3rd down/scat back types on your roster, or when there's not much of a talent gap between your RB1 and backups.
I guess I just don’t understand why they called four straight passes, all of which Tua looked to pick up the first down when there were four downs to do so. Just seemed like they were thinking touchdown or bust on almost all of those plays, which was v dumb!
