His footwork is an absolute mess right now.

 

He's always done whatever the fuck he felt like doing in/out of the pocket though really

 

To a certain extent, but he still normally maintained a good base when he was in the pocket in the past.

This is something that I have noticed a bit-- but just the last few games. On some throws it's fine, but on other he does what Jay Cutler used to always do: put his shoulder parallel to the LOS and stutter step back out of the gun. It's fine on certain quick inside throws, but really inappropriate and presumably bad for timing on other plays.

And I really don't like that I just compared Rodgers to Cutler.

On the bright side I'll be gone all day tomorrow so I won't be watching!
