I talk a lot during games, and this year especially, it’s kind of shocking how often I’ll say EXACTLY what the color commentator was about to say

I wish I could have that job

 

I know I am a huge dork for watching film and thinking that’s means anything, but at the same time I would recommend it, football gets so much more fun to watch the more strategy you are able to recognize.

It’s not like I know anything you cant learn from Madden, but it does help being able to recognize those concepts quickly, while watching the play. This year I’ve been trying to focus on picking up blocking patterns and learning more about the difference between a good running team and a bad running team. Because that’s just huge — even in modern pass-heavy football, good running teams compete, bad running teams don’t — it’s harder to pass when you can’t run.
