My main takeaways from the Colts game:

1) idk how you see Grant Stuard’s performance yesterday and put EJ Speed back on the field after that. Hopefully stinky Gus agrees and rewards him with some defensive snaps on a defense at full health
2) getting Buckner back hopefully next week is going to be so huge - the rest of the DTs on the roster are so limited in skill set that, if you have the run stop personnel on the field, there’s an easy pivot to pass and you’ll have a ton of time in the pocket, and if the pass rush personnel is on the field, there’s an easy pivot to run directly at Taven Bryan for a first down
3) Miami’s QBs are ass, but holding each of Tyreek and Waddle to 1 catch was a huge win. Dallis Flowers would never…
4) this was the first game in awhile where it felt like the O-Line was losing on pass rush reps more than they were winning. I didn’t really get a sense live for who/what the problem was, but kudos to MIA/hopefully that gets fixed next week
5) really rough game from AR; dude’s gotta improve quickly, he should have the season of leash at the very least, but even the most patient coach and front office can only take so many of those massive clunkers before you’re OUT

 

We are re-entering the RB era

 

Don’t tell anyone who has worked at PFF over the last five years or so, but they do matter

 

KC's run game is being held up by a training camp cut veteran, an undrafted white rookie and a guy they signed off the couch

 

Weirdly, I hope this keeps trending this way because when I played fantasy football as a kid we had LT, Faulk, Priest Holmes, Jamal Lewis, etc etc and I miss primetime RBs putting up awesome, absurd stats

 

This will only push their narrative further josh
