I’m being dramatic lol. There’s nothing wrong with him defending himself but he absolutely slid after he saw Kearse coming for him. Just feel like the refs should/could be more judicious about that call, didn’t seem like they spent much time on it.
Idk what happened to Dak. Straight up hasn’t had one impressive game all year, despite the Cowboys offense continuing to have a stable offensive line and weapons for his whole career
I mean I guess putting up 255 / 2 / 0 INT on NYJ looks impressive but that was with Dallas defense giving him FOUR turnovers
he wasn’t sliding though. Heading face first. Sounds like doesn’t matter if it’s a slide or what Herbert did though.
They both throw daring deep passes a lot, criticizing either one as a dink and dunk QB is cherry picking out of bias imo
Like I’m glad to have Trevor (although I wish Press would use him that way more) cause he can do that stuff but man for the last 20 some odd years I’ve been wishing we had a QB who could make the right pocket movements and the right throws to make crazy shit happen. Tua, Herbert, Lawrence, Burrow, Allen, Mahomes, Goff, Lamar, sometimes Hurts, etc fans should appreciate that their team has the most exciting, and hardest to find, part of football. Don’t get me wrong, I love the explosive runningbacks and great defenses we’ve had, but nothing is more fun than a QB who can just unleash sniper rifle throws downfield and still avoid interceptions most of the time. Even Sam Howell, who is sloppy as shit, is still very entertaining cause that’s his main skill, completing crazy throws downfield.
Now why the fuck are you handing it off two times in a row when you’ve barely done a damn thing on the ground all game
